Author Ramon Rios is from Ridgewood, NJ and currently lives in Stroudsburg, PA. He is attending Stroudsburg High School and is graduating in late June. After high school Ramon will be attending Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, PA.

        While in high school Ramon was in many in school activities as well as out of school activities. Ramon was the JR. and SR. Drum major of the Stroudsburg High School marching band and had performed at the United States Naval Academy Stadium and MetLife Stadium.

Ramon was also captain of the swim team two years in a row and is a four time Varsity Letter winner. He also went to districts all four years and plans to swim for Elizabethtown.

Outside of school Ramon was the Senior Patrol Leader of Troop 86. He climbed the trail and became an Eagle Scout. On the day of his Eagle Scout Ceremony, the flag that was flown over the Capital of the United States was flown in his honor and he received this flag a few short days later.

Ramon never thought he would write any stories until one day his teacher made him write a descriptive essay. He wrote it and enjoyed doing it too because it was the first time a teacher allowed him to write whatever he wanted to write. His first story is called "Final Steps to the Top of the World." He also decided it was to be his first book that was to be published. His goal now is to share his work to the world.
